In April 1986, MTB Quality Consultants was established and incorporated
in the state of Texas. It was formed to provide assistance and guidance
to American Industry and Service Organizations in the areas of Quality
Assurance, Quality Control, Expediting, and Procurement.
The Corporate acronym MTB
means "Making Things Better".
As one of the three founding principles,
the Briles family, in November 1990, obtained all outstanding stock
and became sole owners of the Corporation. The operating corporate officer
is Raymond M. (Mike) Briles - President and CEO. With over 30 years
of Quality and Engineering experience, Mike Briles is responsible for
the Corporate Sales, Marketing and Technical coordination activities.
Originally located in Crosby, Texas, a suburb of
Houston, MTB Quality Consultants moved to Baytown, Texas in January 1993. To support
the field activities, MTB Quality Consultants has a core support group of engineers,
technicians and inspection personnel that have accumulated over 400 years of experience in
QA/QC, Engineering and Expediting.
Scope of Service
MTB is a family owned business that
provides many services in the areas of quality, procurement, and quality
engineering, both domestic and international. MTB has approximately
1200 strategically located professionals throughout the U.S.A., Canada,
Europe, United Kingdom, South America, Israel, Korea, China, and Japan.
Projects undertaken have included work for the oil, petrochemical, military,
nuclear, utility, co-generation, transportation, pipeline, engineering,
construction, fabrication and manufacturing industries. Projects include
both onshore and offshore applications.
